At college I saw a lot of "founders" stuck in endless planning meetings. Real founders ship products, manage risk, and grow. The rest are project managers with better titles and busier calendars.
Real founders don't just manage tasks. They go after the most painful problem people actually have. And they are usually on the ground — whatever their ground is — not in a fancy office performing founder.
How I try to stay on the right side of that line:
- Launch relentlessly. Measure outcomes ruthlessly.
- Own failures publicly. Pivot fast.
- Prioritize growth over comfort.
