Energy is the real currency

After 11,000 volts, urgency stopped being a personality trait. It became a physical fact, and the layer under labor and attention.June 20, 2021
In tenth grade I survived an 11,000-volt electric shock. Hospital. Scars. A version of time that resets hard. That event reorganized how I see almost everything. Lows still hurt, but they do not confuse me the way they used to. I have already seen a floor most people only imagine. After that, "what matters" looked different. Money sits on top of labor. Attention sits under the internet's theater. Beneath both is energy — the capacity to move, heal, act, and keep going. Strip a system far enough and you find it there. Urgency, for me, comes from that. Borrowed time with receipts. I already touched the wire. I can still think and still build. That is enough reason not to waste motion. Comfort alone is a bad optimization target after something like that. Surviving was the start. What stayed with me is simpler: energy is the unit that runs everything else, and I do not want to spend my life pretending money or attention are deeper than that.
