Year-end journal: headboy to college, Vibrant Gujarat, experiments, the marketing bot, and the reminder that competition made me.December 31, 2024 I wanted something to read, not only another recording. So here it is, 2024 in three segments.
Segment one. Headboy. Farewell fights and afterparty. Board stress. Vibrant Gujarat — walk in empty-handed, walk out with knowledge and action. That trip still sits in my confidence stack.
Segment two. Roaming Doon. CUET. Certificates piled into one place. Daily to-do lists that were half chaos, half becoming: stocks, LinkedIn, PowerPoint, Laws of Power, random books. Birthday. Eighteen. Adult competing with the best on the planet. Rooftop nights. Then college on the horizon.
Segment three. Hostel. Distance from comfort as a tax I refuse to pay without return. Classes that actually raised the ceiling. Experiments that didn't all become companies because I was too selective — noted. Marketing bot that got love under pressure. Conferences. Coming home between storms. December slowed productivity and still taught.
Things I kept:
- Busy is not productive.
- Distance from comfort is a contract with yourself.
- Relationships are mirrors, not just support.
- Building from scratch matters even when it stays an experiment.
- Self-talk is still my clearest tool.
2025 goals from that night: build something that scales, measure progress, keep compounding learning, show up daily.
January 1 note after re-listening: competition made me. I couldn't sleep after losing small school contests. Now the contests are larger. Keep the spirit. Keep the big picture when things go sideways.
2024 was perfect. It was mine. Carry the lessons. Drop the dead weight. See you in the doing.
